Study by Stuttgart Univeristy shows ecological benefits of treatments of biological waste
A study has been published by Stuttgart University which has investigated the ecological effects of total greenhouse gas emissions in AD-plants as well as composting plants. Measurements and modelled data has been compared with data from literature.
The study was conducted as an assignment from the federal state of Baden-Württemberg.
The study came to the conclusion that using organics household waste is ecologically meaningful and its climate impact has been investigated.
